Services/ChatGPT Ads

ChatGPT Ads management.

OpenAI put sponsored placements inside ChatGPT. It's a real, self-serve channel now — live in the US since May 2026 and the UK since August 2026 — with CPC bidding, a Conversions API, and product feeds. I help feed-ready brands set it up properly, measure it against actual profit, and decide with data whether to scale it or walk away. No hype, no first-mover FOMO.

Who this is for

You already run Google Shopping or Performance Max profitably, your product feed is in reasonable shape, and you want to test ChatGPT Ads without lighting money on fire — or waiting eighteen months while competitors learn the channel first. This is for eCommerce and DTC brands in a live market (the US, the UK, or one of the 31 European markets opened in August 2026) who treat a new channel as an experiment to measure, not a bandwagon to jump on.

  • Already advertising profitably on Google Shopping / PMax
  • A product feed that's live and reasonably clean
  • Selling in the US, UK, or an EU market where ChatGPT Ads is live
  • Want a measured test, not a hype-driven gamble
What's included

Every deliverable, listed.

01

Eligibility & readiness check

Whether ChatGPT Ads is live in your market, whether your catalogue qualifies, and whether the channel is worth your time yet — an honest go/no-go before you spend anything.

02

OpenAI Ads Manager setup

Account, billing, and campaign structure built in OpenAI's Ads Manager — goals, budgets, CPC bidding, geo settings and daily pacing configured from scratch.

03

Product feed preparation

ChatGPT shopping placements now require a product feed. I get yours ready — titles, attributes, completeness — using the same feed discipline that makes Google Shopping work.

04

Conversion tracking that ties out

OpenAI's pixel plus the Conversions API installed and validated — landing views, add-to-cart, purchases — so the numbers reconcile against GA4 and your Google Ads data, not a vendor dashboard.

05

Campaign build & creative

Conversion-optimised campaigns, ad creative built or uploaded, audience tools configured, and the product ad formats set up for the goals that matter to your P&L.

06

Incrementality-aware measurement

A new channel always looks good on last-click. I measure whether ChatGPT Ads is adding sales or claiming credit for demand you already had — and report it straight.

07

Cannibalisation check vs Google

Whether ChatGPT spend is pulling from — or genuinely adding to — your existing Google Shopping and brand performance, so you're scaling net-new revenue, not shuffling it.

08

Scale-or-kill recommendation

At the end of the test: a clear call — scale, hold, or shut it down — with the numbers behind it. No sunk-cost, no keeping a channel alive to justify the setup fee.

How it works

Process and timeline.

Week 1

Readiness & setup

Eligibility and feed check, Ads Manager built, pixel and Conversions API installed and validated. If the channel isn't ready for you yet, you hear that before you spend.

Week 2-4

Controlled pilot

A deliberately small, well-tracked test — enough budget to learn, not enough to hurt. Daily budget pacing, geo controls, and clean measurement from day one.

Week 5-6

Read the result, decide

Incrementality and cannibalisation reviewed against real profit. You get a documented scale, hold, or kill recommendation — and if it's a scale, a plan to do it.

FAQ · ChatGPT Ads

Things people ask.

Is ChatGPT Ads even available in my country?

As of September 2026: the US (since May), the UK (since 11 August), and 31 European markets via OpenAI's Ads Manager (since 31 August), plus Mexico, Brazil, Japan and South Korea. It's expanding fast — the readiness check confirms your specific market before we plan anything.

Do I need a product feed?

For shopping placements, yes — OpenAI made product feeds a requirement in September 2026. If you already run Google Shopping you're most of the way there; I get the feed into shape as part of setup.

Isn't it too early to bother?

For a lot of businesses, honestly, yes — and I'll tell you if you're one of them. It's worth a measured test if you're feed-ready eCommerce in a live market and want a head start while CPCs are still cheap and competition is thin. It's not worth it if your Google account still has obvious problems; fix those first.

Will it cannibalise my Google Ads?

That's exactly what I measure. A new channel almost always books conversions it didn't create. This engagement is built around telling you whether ChatGPT Ads is adding net-new revenue or just re-attributing demand you already own.

Do the ads change ChatGPT's answers?

No. OpenAI's stated design is that ads are clearly labelled sponsored placements that don't influence the answer, and paid tiers (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Education) stay ad-free. That shapes how you think about intent and placement — we plan around it.

How is this priced?

A fixed project fee for the setup-and-pilot engagement, separate from your ad spend (which you pay OpenAI directly). If the pilot works and you want ongoing management, it folds into a retainer — priced on effort, never a percentage of spend.
